Site Redesign

So it seems my normal cycle of getting tired of my personal patcheung.com site…and feeling embarrassed about how dated it looks…is around three years. Doing the math…it’s been almost three years since my last redesign…so I suppose it’s time for a change.

I’m still keeping it really simple, sticking with the one-page scroller concept. I realized my previous design read like a resume, which makes sense cause I think I was looking for a job during my last redesign. This time, I’m mainly focusing on the blog (which I hope to update more often as my personal journal)…and the photography section.

I also decided just to start calling myself a photographer for the heck of it. I guess often with a personal site redesign…I sometimes think if there’s some kind of life branding change I can also pursue. I’ve found it makes for interesting new chapters in life to just adopt somewhat random titles I’m not altogether comfortable with…but becomes self-prophesying after I’ve embraced it a for some time. I was going to put CHEF there…but I needed more letters to balance out the trifecta of professional titles 😉

Well, before saying goodbye to my old site…just want to log some screenshots here. They always bring a sense of nostalgia when I look back on them.
