Hi, I'm Pat Cheung.

I’m an entrepreneur. And right now, 100% of my time is focused on serving podcasters. As the founder of Fanlist, my mission is to help podcasters know, grow, and monetize their audience.

I first found my passion for audience building in 2011, as the Head of Product at EQAL, one of the first celebrity and influencer networks in Los Angeles. There, I designed our social platform to drive fan engagement and build fan communities. Over 40 influencers in our network used our platform to monetize brand partnerships, accounting for over 20 million fan touch points per month.

Today, I’m the founder and CEO of Fanlist, a fan page platform designed for podcasters & creators. In a nutshell, Fanlist lets podcasters create an online fan page, where fans can engage in various actions like leaving messages, asking questions, leaving tips, buying perks, subscribing to paid content, and more.

I’ve been a tech founder for over a decade, with a couple successful exits under my belt. But, Fanlist is a reflection of my love of tech, business, and podcasting.

I also host Podcast Growth Hacks. It’s a weekly podcast where I talk to other podcasters to learn how they grew their audience. It’s my way of continually learning and sharing how audience growth works.

As a community leader, I also run PodConf, a podcast conference in Portland Oregon, serving podcasters across the Pacific Northwest.

As an avid podcast fan myself, I’m obsessed with helping podcasters succeed in engaging, knowing, growing, and monetizing their fan base. With my experience in audience engagement, I’ve written 3 books revealing practical tips to help podcasters engage their own raving fans.

I was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Orange County, studied at UC Berkeley, and now I live in Portland Oregon.
